High but very fishable water on the middle right now. Landed several fish on Baetis and Midge patterns.  Even the “White Dogs” mom made it out on the water. With the amount of snow still up high I think we will be dealing with high flows on our rivers for a while.

Trout and Rufus Stare Down

March 4 &5

Great Midge hatches the last two days. 12-3 was prime time with lots of trout on or near the surface feeding. Morgan’s Midge was a good choice. A pupa as a dropper under a cluster midge pattern was also effective for midging fish. Rufus made it out on the water also. Lucky Dog.
